Consider Him Again

pierced hands-then poured out his life to take us for a wife

Poured Out

He came with

nail-scarred hand

to serve the

royal band.

He walked on

nail-scarred feet

to take the

lowly seat.

And then poured

out His life to

take us for a wife.

John19:17 “They took Jesus therefore, and He went out, bearing His own
cross, to the place called the Place of a Skull, which is called in Hebrew,

“ Song 4: 9 “You have made my heart beat faster, my sister, my bride; you
have made my heart beat faster with a single glance of your eyes, with a
single strand of your necklace.”

    A Life for a Life

     A life for a life,

     oh, bloody sacrifice.

     To purchase me

     through tortured tree,

      but more.

     To marry me

     through life out poured,

     is wonder beyond wonder.

     Hear, oh, heart,

     and love,

     and finally love.
