Hearing daily and in detail is important because I often find myself among difficult people. This is a frequent occurrence for the Lord’s Bride. It was for Jeremiah and Christ, as well. I see the difference between the real and the false and the false attacks often. In the middle the latest challenge the Lord is speaking to me. First He took me to John 10:17 “The Father loves me because I sacrifice my life so I may take it back again. 18 No one can take my life from me. I sacrifice it voluntarily. For I have authority to lay it down when I want to and also to take it up again. For this is what my Father has commanded.”
As I read this scripture I asked the Lord, “Is it time to die again?” He said, “You have died enough. Now is time to learn to take it up again. You have resurrection power. Walk in it.”
I had many years of death to self. This meant death to everything I believed about life, God and the Church. I spent over 20 years in the tomb. Finally, the tomb ended, but I was a spiritual zombie. I was alive but not moving in resurrection power because the crushing years crushed that too. So, for me now is time to allow His power to move through me as it once did only more so. How can I know these things unless I hear daily and in detail?
I Want You to Run With Horses
Then the next morning I asked God again what He would say. “I want you to run with horses.” I looked this up knowing I read it before in scripture.
Jere. 12:5 “If racing against mere men makes you tired,
how will you race against horses? NLT
The only way humans can race against horses is through supernatural power. When Elijah ran ahead of Ahaz’s chariot in 1Kings 18:46 God granted him His power.
God’s end time ministers must have great courage and listen much at in the Secret Place of His presence. There He will equip us with what we need when we need it. I have had everything I need till this point. Now I need and am ready for the next step, His power.
Post His Word Where You Can See It
On my bathroom mirror I posted two affirmations. The first is “let Him complete me”.
Col. 2: 9 “For in Christ lives all the fullness of God in a human body. 10 So you also are complete through your union with Christ, who is the head over every ruler and authority.”
All the fullness and power of God was and is in Christ. When He dwells in us and we let Him flow through us His limitless power can touch others. As if this was not enough, the word complete means to continuously fill up a deficiency. So, His indwelling Spirit fills up any lack we have. In Him we have no deficiency. We are complete. He completes me if I let Him, if I believe Him. Receiving this opens me to His resurrection power.
We Have Supernatural Power
The next affirmation on my mirror says, “I want you to run with horses”. As I believe and receive all of His power, for He is the fullness or completeness of Deity, I will run with horses. No more running in my power, ministering in my own power or my many gifts. God will move through those gifts by His mighty unlimited power and glory and change the world around me. Opposition will no longer weary me because I have learned to run in all that is available to me in Him. The results of hearing daily and in detail are enormous for our growth.
The Army of Lovers
Beloved this understanding is not just for me. Many reading this are not ready for this yet. But know this, He wants His power for His people when they are ready. Colossians 2:9-10 is for all who love the Bridegroom with their whole heart. He is preparing an army of lovers who will allow His power to move through them and touch others. Lovers of God come to Him with an unveiled face. These lovers will not take His glory for themselves. This is foreign to them because they dwell in the Secret Place listening for the sound of His voice. His voice is as necessary to them as breathing. They do not expect another to hear for them, but they listen for the voice of their Lover and then they move at the impulse of His will. These lovers touch the world around them because He chooses those who love Him to do so. Lovers reach out when they would rather be in the Secret Place listening. They go because they love Him and must fulfill the desire of His heart to show love to others so the Bride can be complete. This is His heart, and it becomes the Bride’s heart too for she must, out of love for Him, fulfill His will. She will rejoice with Him when she sees the desire of His heart satisfied.
God’s Power
This is your legacy if you will have it, if you will believe it, if you will seek Him with all your heart. Jere. 29:12 “If you seek me you will find me if you seek me with all your heart and I will be found by you.” NASB
